Want to hire the Church Hall? Here are our current fees:

£20 per hour: Includes the hire
of the church hall and kitchen

£40 per hour: Includes the hire
of the church hall, kitchen and church

Hiring Terms and Conditions

Below are our terms and conditions for hiring. While we hope you enjoy using our Hall and Church building,
we would ask that you be mindful of the following considerations in the light of Health & Safety requirements.

    That the church building and the hall be treated with respect and care.
    Hirers are expected to make good any loss or damage caused intentionally
    or accidentally to the building and contents.

    That the PCC accepts no liability for loss or injury to anyone arising out of activities during the period of hire.

    That the activities undertaken are those for which the space is hired and that the premises are safe for the purpose for which they are intended to be used.

    That the contents of the hall, church, furniture, and kitchen equipment and accessories are used respectfully and any damage reported.

    That prior to the start of any activity, the condition of the building was acceptable, (we suggest you take photographs of the layout, especially position of tables and chairs) on completion of hire, it is returned in the same condition - floors swept, kitchen clean, crockery, cutlery and glasses washed and put away, toilets clean, bins removed and new liner bags in place. (Wheelie bins for general ‘bagged’ waste are on the side pathway to the right of the front door, as you go out).
    Items for re-cycling should be placed in the re-cycling bins at the Pepper Pot site. Chairs should be around the sides of the hall and in stacks of no more than 6. Small tables are stacked by the kitchen and large tables behind the pillar at the north end of the hall.

    That all electrical appliances apart from the fridge, are switched off,
    especially the cooker in the kitchen. Do not switch off the fridge.

    That all aspects of Health & Safety in relation to safe food handling and hygiene practices in the preparation and serving of food are complied with.

    That all aspects of Health & Safety in relation to the Fire Regulations are complied with. Please take note of the Fire Exits, the location of the Fire Extinguishers and familiarise yourself with the instructions for use.
    There is a Fire Blanket in the kitchen.

    That any injury arising during the period of hire be recorded in the Accident Book kept within the First Aid box on the shelf in the Hall. Please follow the guidelines for completing the accident recording.

    That the activity is finished at the time stated and the premises vacated on time. Please return the key as advised.

  • 11

    The church has a license to sell alcohol on the premises.
    Please make us aware if you will be selling alcohol.

  • 12

    The Church and Hall are Non Smoking facilities.

  • 13

    Any music must not be excessively loud, that it distresses the neighbours.

  • 14

    FEES: The fees currently payable are: Hire of the hall & kitchen - £15 ph.
    To include the Church - £30 ph. From the 1st September 2022 the hire fees will be increased to: Hire of hall & kitchen - £20 ph. To include the Church - £40 ph.

    Please bring with you, your own tea towels and bin bags.
